【Artist's Comment】

Since my childhood, I have been creating works that embody the magnificent nature that resides in my memories.

I shape porcelain clay made from the Hanazaka pottery stone of Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and use the Kutani five colors—purple, blue, yellow, and green—to apply overglaze decoration and repeated firing, creating gradations that change in depth.

Using this colored glaze technique, I aim to create works where form and color are unified.
